Helping dogs and their owners grow more confident together, build a stronger bond and learn how to communicate effortlessly.

About Me

I’ve been passionate about dogs for as long as I can remember! I started working professionally with dogs in 2019 as a dog daycare attendant. After getting my 'Mini Aussie'  Meka, I learned a lot while raising her. I had to work through her anxiety, reactivity, fear and built her confidence. I also found my passion for trick training and how much it boosted her confidence and our relationship. In 2022, I joined K9 Culture, where I spent the next three years training over 100 dogs and teaching more than 100 group classes — from puppy basics to advanced obedience.

During my time there, I gained extensive experience working with a wide range of dogs — from those needing help with basic manners to those with more complex behavioral issues. I’ve also worked closely with owners in both private lessons and group settings, helping them understand and communicate with their dogs more clearly and confidently.

I absolutely loved my time at K-9 Culture. Sadly, the facility was forced to close due to external circumstances completely outside the owners’ and training team’s control. The videos and results you see on my site reflect my personal work and skills developed over years of hands-on experience.

I own a Mini American Shepherd (Mini Aussie) and a Border Collie. I love working with all breeds, but I do find I have a special knack for those intense herding breeds! I love the way their brains work, their intelligence and drive! They often require a different kind of understanding and approach that I would love to share with you

Beyond obedience and behavior work, I have a deep love for trick training and freestyle disc — they’re amazing ways to build a stronger, more joyful bond with your dog.

After years of working with dogs and their owners, I’ve learned what both truly need from a trainer.

I enjoy and have worked with a variety of breeds, issues and temperaments but I find my favorite clients and cases to be:

- Herding breeds

- Overly energetic dogs

-neurotic/anxious dogs

- Helping start puppies with the right foundation

-reactive dogs

- trick training, communicating past basic commands

- any client who is really willing to put in the work!

Herding Dogs

Herding dogs are exceptionally intelligent, intuitive, sensitive, and deeply aware. Many people are drawn to them for these very traits—yet they often struggle with their dog for the same reason. Through owning two herding breeds and working with many more, I’ve developed a true appreciation for these dogs and a deep understanding of how to work with their instincts rather than against them.
