Help Your Dog Become a Captivating K9!

FREE Training Consultation

Great training starts with a great relationship.

We have an anxious border collie and our trainer Sadler worked very hard to make her comfortable and responsive to commands.
Our dog Lucy struggled with walking and car reactivity which Sadler fixed very quickly. She used to spin in circles and bark at cars as well as pull on the leash and chase after anything moving. We didn't think Lucy could ever get to the point where she didn't react at all to cars and other distractions. Within the 6 sessions we signed up for, Sadler worked magic on our dog and we are now able to walk her on trails and take her to new places without worrying about how she will react.

Communication Is Everything

Dogs have been evolving alongside humans for over 10,000 years. The bond we share with them is truly one-of-a-kind—no other domesticated species connects with people in quite the same way.

Studies show that dogs are uniquely skilled at interpreting human gestures, pointing, and facial expressions—a level of communication rarely seen elsewhere in the animal kingdom. They even have specialized brain regions that respond more strongly to human voices and faces than to other dogs.

Why does this matter? Because it shows how deeply in tune our dogs are with us. When we learn to meet them halfway—to communicate in ways they understand—everything becomes easier.

Our dogs constantly read our behavior and emotions, often more closely than we realize. If you tense up and tighten the leash when another dog approaches, your dog senses that shift: “My person is tense… something must be wrong.”  That simple moment of tension can amplify their reactivity.

That’s why we're here—to help you become more aware, more communicative, and more connected with your dog. Training isn’t just about changing your dog’s behavior; it’s about understanding how your actions influence theirs. Just like any healthy relationship, harmony comes from both sides making adjustments.

You can’t completely change another being—but you can guide, encourage, and shape behavior through understanding, consistency, and communication. Our goal is to help you see your dog as an individual, to learn how to work with them, and to build a relationship that feels effortless, cooperative, and joyful.
