Everyone at Complete K9 Training is awesome! Melissa helped us with our dog, Baxter, a rescue who came to us as a HIGHLY reactive dog. Thanks to her kind, empathic, and patient help, he’s become a joy to be with out and about. He’s become the happiest dog I’ve ever had, all smiles! I can’t recommend this team of trainers enough!

Melissa and Sadler are so gentle with Teddy. Teddy and I have been in weekly group training classes since January and can not speak more highly on the progress Teddy has made. They are true professionals.

Captivating K9s does a great job getting your dog from “It’s me or the dog” to happy member of the family. Sadler and Melissa are calm, caring, and careful to provide just what you and your dog need to advance in training. Our dog Charley is a highly intelligent, high energy standard poodle. She weighs 54 lbs and stands over 5 and half feet tall on her hind legs. We need to keep her calm and grounded at all times, and Captivating K9s helps us get there. They work with group classes or individually. I understand that they will even work with you at your home and pet sit. My mother is in a senior facility with a lot of dogs. If someone needed to train a dog to adapt to an independent living space, Captivating K9s could work at the new residence to get the dog adapted in days, instead of weeks. I highly recommend them.

Sadler has been fantastic in helping us train our reactive chiweenie, Oliver. Not only that, but she also helped us safely introduce our new puppy to him, and they are now inseparable! Our virtual and in person trainings have been extremely helpful, informative, and worth every penny. Sadler always takes the time to make sure all our questions and concerns are addressed. I finally feel like I can actually communicate with my pups!

Sadler and Melissa are the best people you can trust your K9 family members with! When my partner and I adopted our pup, Evie, from a shelter, all we knew was that she was likely abandoned, and found on the streets all alone. Although she loved and trusted us instantly (meant to be family!) she was super shy, fearful, and anxious around other dogs, people, new objects, loud sounds, and anywhere other than home. So, we wanted to make sure that we were setting Evie up for the happiest life possible, and looked for training programs around Dallas. After a few consultations with different programs, we decided on Captivating K9s. Sadler made sure to ask us what our goals for Evie were, and tailored the training to focus on Evie’s confidence-building, and her reactivity to other dogs. Evie improved so much throughout her time training, and I learned so much about how to support and train Evie from the lessons with Sadler. I could see Evie’s confidence growing with each session, and actually, I had completely forgotten (before writing this review) that she used to bark at other dogs before training with Sadler, because now Evie is unfazed even if other dogs bark at her. Sadler sent very helpful videos each session showing what she was working on with Evie, as well as detailed instruction on what to work on at home. Evie loved accomplishing new tasks and tricks, and I even got to see her letting loose and having the best time playing with other dogs, which would not have been possible prior to Sadler’s work with her. Since then, Evie has gotten so much bolder, made many new dog and human friends, and visited so many new places. I am so proud of her, and so grateful to both Sadler and Melissa for all that they have done for Evie. And most importantly, they both truly care about each dog they work with, so I know I can trust them with Evie, and recommend anyone looking to set their dog up for a happy life.
